Our organisation legally obtains video footage to bear witness to the fear and pain most pigs are forced to endure throughout their unnaturally short lives.
 

These videos will speak for themselves, but it may also shock many Australians to know:
 

• Most pigs are subjected to several painful procedures, most of which are performed without anaesthesia or pain relief.
   

• Astronomical numbers of pigs die in piggeries before they reach the ‘finishing’ age of around just 6 months.
   

• When pigs go to a slaughterhouse to be killed, most will be subjected to carbon dioxide ‘stunning systems’, otherwise known as gas chambers...
